The Bible and the Book of Mormon testify of each other. There is absolutely no teachings that conflict.
The confusion on thei point comes from the differences between the teachings of the Book of Mormon/Bible and the doctrine of the LDSaints. Many people, undersatandably, think that LDSaint Doctrine is derived from the Book of Mormon. This has been a great stumbling block. If one reads the Book of Mormon with an open mind, she will discover that, it seems, the Book of Mormon confounds LDSaint doctrine. Indeed, it may be concluded that the Lord, knowing that LDSaint would be tossed to and fro over every wave of doctrine, wrote the Book of Mormon especially with them in mind!
Least I be accused of being a hater and to give the honest searcher news reason to take up the Book of Mormon, I feel I have to give a basis for my statement above.
In the april Conference, Dallin Oaks summerized the current teaching of the LDSaints. Let's compare the discourse with the Book of Mormon and detect how that book confounds his false doctrine. I recommend reading the whole talk. I will not be able to cover all the points of conflict (there are many) but the few that I point out should suffice. You can read the discourse here:

A Common Misunderstanding
"A common misunderstanding of the judgment that ultimately follows mortal life is that good people go to a place called heaven and bad people go to an everlasting place called hell".
What he calls misunderstanding is the ubiquitous teaching of the Book of Mormon. Let me give you some references (not all):
2 Nephi 9
13. O how great the plan of our God! For on the other hand, the paradise of God must deliver up the spirits of the righteous, and the grave deliver up the body of the righteous; and the spirit and the body is restored to itself again, and all men become incorruptible, and immortal, and they are living souls, ... they who are righteous shall be righteous still, and they who are filthy shall be filthy still; wherefore, they who are filthy are the devil and his angels; and they shall go away into everlasting fire, prepared for them; and their torment is as a lake of fire and brimstone, whose flame ascendeth up forever and ever and has no end.
23. And he commandeth all men that they must repent, and be baptized in his name, having perfect faith in the Holy One of Israel, or they cannot be saved in the kingdom of God.
24. And if they will not repent and believe in his name, and be baptized in his name, and endure to the end, they must be damned; for the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has spoken it.
Mosiah 3
24. And thus saith the Lord: They shall stand as a bright testimony against this people, at the judgment day; whereof they shall be judged, every man according to his works, whether they be good, or whether they be evil.
25. And if they be evil they are consigned to an awful view of their own guilt and abominations, which doth cause them to shrink from the presence of the Lord into a state of misery and endless torment, from whence they can no more return; therefore they have drunk damnation to their own souls.
26. Therefore, they have drunk out of the cup of the wrath of God, which justice could no more deny unto them than it could deny that Adam should fall because of his partaking of the forbidden fruit; therefore, mercy could have claim on them no more forever.
27. And their torment is as a lake of fire and brimstone, whose flames are unquenchable, and whose smoke ascendeth up forever and ever. Thus hath the Lord commanded me. Amen.
Mosiah 16
10. Even this mortal shall put on immortality, and this corruption shall put on incorruption, and shall be brought to stand before the bar of God, to be judged of him according to their works whether they be good or whether they be evil--
11. If they be good, to the resurrection of endless life and happiness; and if they be evil, to the resurrection of endless damnation, being delivered up to the devil, who hath subjected them, which is damnation--
Alma 40
25. And then shall the righteous shine forth in the kingdom of God.
26. But behold, an awful death cometh upon the wicked; for they die as to things pertaining to things of righteousness; for they are unclean, and no unclean thing can inherit the kingdom of God; but they are cast out, and consigned to partake of the fruits of their labors or their works, which have been evil; and they drink the dregs of a bitter cup.
3 Nephi 27
16. And it shall come to pass, that whoso repenteth and is baptized in my name shall be filled; and if he endureth to the end, behold, him will I hold guiltless before my Father at that day when I shall stand to judge the world.
17. And he that endureth not unto the end, the same is he that is also hewn down and cast into the fire, from whence they can no more return, because of the justice of the Father.
19. And no unclean thing can enter into his kingdom; therefore nothing entereth into his rest save it be those who have washed their garments in my blood, because of their faith, and the repentance of all their sins, and their faithfulness unto the end.
20. Now this is the commandment: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me and be baptized in my name, that ye may be sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost, that ye may stand spotless before me at the last day.
1 Nephi 15
32. ....the day should come that they must be judged of their works, yea, even the works which were done by the temporal body in their days of probation.
33. Wherefore, if they should die in their wickedness they must be cast off also, as to the things which are spiritual, which are pertaining to righteousness; wherefore, they must be brought to stand before God, to be judged of their works; and if their works have been filthiness they must needs be filthy; and if they be filthy it must needs be that they cannot dwell in the kingdom of God; if so, the kingdom of God must be filthy also.
34. But behold, I say unto you, the kingdom of God is not filthy, and there cannot any unclean thing enter into the kingdom of God; wherefore there must needs be a place of filthiness prepared for that which is filthy.
35. And there is a place prepared, yea, even that awful hell of which I have spoken, and the devil is the preparator of it; wherefore the final state of the souls of men is to dwell in the kingdom of God, or to be cast out because of that justice of which I have spoken.
Jesus was consistant it this common misunderstanding of two destinies. He talked of good fish/bad fish. wheat and chaff, right hand left hand, sheep and goats, wise virgins and foolish virgins. To sum up his teachings, He taught:
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
All His Children Saved
"The revealed doctrine of the restored Church of Jesus Christ teaches that all the children of God—with exceptions too limited to consider here—will finally wind up in a kingdom of glory. 'In my Father’s house are many mansions,' Jesus taught. From modern revelation we know that those mansions are in three different kingdoms of glory...He has revealed that He “glorifies the Father, and saves all the works of his hands.”.
If you have read my copious citations under the preceding subheading, you will see that this just isn't the view of the Prophets who wrote the Book of Mormon.
"All the children of God....will finally wind up in a kingdom of glory" was a teaching of false prophets in the Book of Mormon. There was a man named Nehor who taught this very thing!
Alma 1
4. And he also testified unto the people that all mankind should be saved at the last day, and that they need not fear nor tremble, but that they might lift up their heads and rejoice; for the Lord had created all men, and had also redeemed all men; and, in the end, all men should have eternal life.
Eventually, Nehor "did acknowledge, between the heavens and the earth, that what he had taught to the people was contrary to the word of God".
The Book of Mormon warns, plainly, against this idea as the prophet Nephi told LDSaints about flase teachings in the latter days.
2 Nephi 28
8. And there shall also be many which shall say: Eat, drink, and be merry; nevertheless, fear God--he will justify in committing a little sin; yea, lie a little, take the advantage of one because of his words, dig a pit for thy neighbor; there is no harm in this; and do all these things, for tomorrow we die; and if it so be that we are guilty, God will beat us with a few stripes, and at last we shall be saved in the kingdom of God.
9. Yea, and there shall be many which shall teach after this manner, false and vain and foolish doctrines....
10. And the blood of the saints shall cry from the ground against them.
11. Yea, they have all gone out of the way; they have become corrupted.
12. Because of pride, and because of false teachers, and false doctrine, their churches have become corrupted....
Some prophets were confronted my an Amalikite who taught after this manner, false and vain and foolish doctrines. The exchange could have been between him and Elder Oaks. Aaron, the prophet, goes right to the heart of the matter.
Alma 21
6. [The Amalekite says,] Thou also sayest, except we repent we shall perish. .... We do believe that God will save all men.
7. Now Aaron said unto him: Believest thou that the Son of God shall come to redeem mankind from their sins?
8. ....We do not believe....that our fathers did know concerning the things which they spake...
Three things to note:
I) Aaron was teachi9ng the difference between being saved FROM or sins rather than being saved IN our sins, like we must assume Oaks was teaching, since all God's Chilren would be saved, saint and sinner. Amulek makes the Book of Mormon teaching clear:
Alma 11
34. And Zeezrom said again: Shall he save his people in their sins? And Amulek answered and said unto him: I say unto you he shall not, for it is impossible for him to deny his word.
35. ....I said he shall not save his people in their sins.
37. And I say unto you again that he cannot save them in their sins; for I cannot deny his word, and he hath said that no unclean thing can inherit the kingdom of heaven; therefore, how can ye be saved, except ye inherit the kingdom of heaven? Therefore, ye cannot be saved in your sins.
II) Aaron asks his opponent "Believest thou that the Son of God shall come to redeem mankind from their sins?". This is key. If all God's children are to be saved, what is the point of God sending His son to die for us? Jesus, when he visited the Nephites and Lamanites after His resurrection said,
3 Nephi 27
15. And for this cause have I been lifted up; therefore, according to the power of the Father I will draw all men unto me, that they may be judged according to their works.
It appears that Oaks would tell Jesus that He was under the delusin of the "common misunderstanding"!
"In the Final Judgment each of us will be judged according to our deeds and the desires of our hearts...In other words, the kingdom of glory we receive in the Final Judgment is determined by the laws we choose to abide by in our Heavenly Father’s loving plan."
Herein we can see why Christians would accuse the LDSaints of preaching the Gospel of Works. The Book of Mormon, however, teaches that we are in the gripe of Justice. This means that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God, and that we deserve eternal punishment, pure justice. If we were to be judged by our works, we would all perish under the cold hand of justice.
Mosiah 2
36. And now, I say unto you, my brethren, that after ye have known and have been taught all these things, if ye should transgress and go contrary to that which has been spoken, that ye do withdraw yourselves from the Spirit of the Lord, that it may have no place in you to guide you in wisdom's paths that ye may be blessed, prospered, and preserved--
37. I say unto you, that the man that doeth this, the same cometh out in open rebellion against God; therefore he listeth to obey the evil spirit, and becometh an enemy to all righteousness; therefore, the Lord has no place in him, for he dwelleth not in unholy temples.
38. Therefore if that man repenteth not, and remaineth and dieth an enemy to God, the demands of divine justice do awaken his immortal soul to a lively sense of his own guilt, which doth cause him to shrink from the presence of the Lord, and doth fill his breast with guilt, and pain, and anguish, which is like an unquenchable fire, whose flame ascendeth up forever and ever.
39. And now I say unto you, that mercy hath no claim on that man; therefore his final doom is to endure a never-ending torment.
The whole point of Jesus dying for us is to appease the demands of justice and let us escape the grasp.
Mosiah 15:9 Having ascended into heaven, having the bowels of mercy; being filled with compassion towards the children of men; standing betwixt them and justice; having broken the bands of death, taken upon himself their iniquity and their transgressions, having redeemed them, and satisfied the demands of justice.
Alma 34:16 And thus mercy can satisfy the demands of justice, and encircles them in the arms of safety, while he that exercises no faith unto repentance is exposed to the whole law of the demands of justice; therefore only unto him that has faith unto repentance is brought about the great and eternal plan of redemption.
Alma 42:15 And now, the plan of mercy could not be brought about except an atonement should be made; therefore God himself atoneth for the sins of the world, to bring about the plan of mercy, to appease the demands of justice, that God might be a perfect, just God, and a merciful God also.
Alma 42:24 For behold, justice exerciseth all his demands, and also mercy claimeth all which is her own; and thus, none but the truly penitent are saved.
Alma asks his brethren of the Church, exactly what Aaron asked the Amalekite:
Alma 5
15. Do ye exercise faith in the redemption of him who created you?
He then asks if they can imagine themselves standing before the Bar of God being praised for how woderful they were!
15 Do you look forward with an eye of faith, and view this mortal body raised in immortality, and this corruption raised in incorruption, to stand before God to be judged according to the deeds which have been done in the mortal body?
16. I say unto you, can you imagine to yourselves that ye hear the voice of the Lord, saying unto you, in that day: Come unto me ye blessed, for behold, your works have been the works of righteousness upon the face of the earth?
17. Or do ye imagine to yourselves that ye can lie unto the Lord in that day, and say--Lord, our works have been righteous works upon the face of the earth--and that he will save you?
Then he corrects them, kind of like Aaron did to the Amalikite:
18. Or otherwise, can ye imagine yourselves brought before the tribunal of God with your souls filled with guilt and remorse, having a remembrance of all your guilt, yea, a perfect remembrance of all your wickedness, yea, a remembrance that ye have set at defiance the commandments of God?
19. I say unto you, can ye look up to God at that day with a pure heart and clean hands? I say unto you, can you look up, having the image of God engraven upon your countenances?
20. I say unto you, can ye think of being saved when you have yielded yourselves to become subjects to the devil?
21. I say unto you, ye will know at that day that ye cannot be saved; for there can no man be saved except his garments are washed white; yea, his garments must be purified until they are cleansed from all stain, through the blood of him of whom it has been spoken by our fathers, who should come to redeem his people from their sins.
III) My last point that needs to be emphisized regarding Aaron and the Amalekite is his line "Alma 22:8. "....We do not believe....that our fathers did know concerning the things which they spake...". LDSaints (most on Quora) will tell you that all of my observations above were made from scriptures that taught incomplete doctrine. They believe in the "continuing restoration" of the fulness of the Gospel. In other words, they parrot the line of the Amalekite that the Book of Mormon prophets didn't know what they were talking about and that there was so much more that wasn't revealed yet!
Do you see what I meant when I said that the Book of Mormon was written to the LDSaints! Can anything be more directed at them?
Continues Oaks "In the Final Judgment each of us will be judged according to our deeds and the desires of our hearts. Before that, we will need to suffer for our unrepented sins. The scriptures are clear on that".
I have sincerly asked here on quora some references, which he seems to think are clear, that we will be punished for our unrepented sins before the judgement. For those who don't know, what he is teaching that if we didn't repent of our sins, we would not only be punished for them aftere death and before the judgement, but we can pay for them thus opening a way so that we can be glorified in the Kingdom of God. The Book of Mormon, however, is clear on the teaching that only Jesus can pay for our sins and that if He doesn't, nobody can.
Mosiah 16:13 And now, ought ye not to tremble and repent of your sins, and remember that only in and through Christ ye can be saved?
Helaman 5:9 O remember, remember, my sons, the words which king Benjamin spake unto his people; yea, remember that there is no other way nor means whereby man can be saved, only through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, who shall come; yea, remember that he cometh to redeem the world.
Mosiah 3:17 And moreover, I say unto you, that there shall be no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come unto the children of men, only in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent.
Mosiah 3:18 ...men drink damnation to their own souls except they humble themselves and become as little children, and believe that salvation was, and is, and is to come, in and through the atoning blood of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent.
To be blunt, this idea that we can pay for our own sins is just about the most abominable teachings of the LDSaints.
