Why don't Mormons care that their unusual theological teachings aren't found in the Book of Mormon, which clearly accepts ordinary biblical theological doctrines and teachings rather than those promoted by the LDS Church?

What! Not again! Jake makes a bold statement "I triple dog dare you to find another one" and then applies "Adding comments disabled"
SAYS JAKE: "Further, there are really only two truly substantial and meaningful points of doctrine taught by and promoted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that are not found in the Book of Mormon — specifically the Kingdoms of Glory and the eternal marriage covenant. I triple dog dare you to find another one."
ME: I Take up the dare. I start with a passage that has never been commented on and is assiduously avoided in works such as "Come Follow Me". Let's look carefully at Alma 34.
31. Yea, I would that ye would come forth and harden not your hearts any longer; for behold, now is the time and the day of your salvation; and therefore, if ye will repent and harden not your hearts, immediately shall the great plan of redemption be brought about unto you.
32. For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors.
33. And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed.
34. Ye cannot say, when ye are brought to that awful crisis, that I will repent, that I will return to my God. Nay, ye cannot say this; for that same spirit which doth possess your bodies at the time that ye go out of this life, that same spirit will have power to possess your body in that eternal world.
35. For behold, if ye have procrastinated the day of your repentance even until death, behold, ye have become subjected to the spirit of the devil, and he doth seal you his; therefore, the Spirit of the Lord hath withdrawn from you, and hath no place in you, and the devil hath all power over you; and this is the final state of the wicked.
36. And this I know, because the Lord hath said he dwelleth not in unholy temples, but in the hearts of the righteous doth he dwell; yea, and he has also said that the righteous shall sit down in his kingdom, to go no more out; but their garments should be made white through the blood of the Lamb.
This Life, a Probation
"this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors".
Latter-day Saints believe that the Day of Probation extends to the Judgement Day. The above passage contradicts that.
The repetition of the doctrine should emphasize that the Lord wanted all to realize that all labor for our own salvation has to be done in this mortal life: "this life is the time", "the day of this life", "after this day of life", "while in this life", "the time that ye go out of this life", "until death", "this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity".
The Book of Mormon teaches the mortal day of Probation. LDSaints reject the Book of Mormon.
I have been accused of "Cherry-picking" verses to present gospel truths. I wish to show you that these concepts are taught throughout scriptures. I collected a few other references for you and have placed them here:
Probation
Probation 1 Nephi 10:21 Wherefore, if ye have sought to do wickedly in the days of your probation, then ye are found unclean before the judgment-seat of God; and no unclean thing can dwell with God; wherefore, ye must be cast off forever. 1 Nephi 15:30-3 And I said unto them that our father also saw that the justice of God did also divide the wicked from the righteous; and the brightness thereof was like unto the brightness of a flaming fire, which ascendeth up unto God forever and ever, and hath no end. 31. And they said unto me: Doth this thing mean the torment of the body in the days of probation, or doth it mean the final state of the soul after the death of the temporal body, or doth it speak of the things which are temporal? 32. And it came to pass that I said unto them that it was a representation of things both temporal and spiritual; for the day should come that they must be judged of their works, yea, even the works which were done by the temporal body in their days of probation. 33. Wherefore, if they should die in their wickedness they must be cast off also, as to the things which are spiritual, which are pertaining to righteousness; wherefore, they must be brought to stand before God, to be judged of their works; and if their works have been filthiness they must needs be filthy; and if they be filthy it must needs be that they cannot dwell in the kingdom of God; if so, the kingdom of God must be filthy also. 2 Nephi 2:21 And the days of the children of men were prolonged, according to the will of God, that they might repent while in the flesh; wherefore, their state became a state of probation, and their time was lengthened, according to the commandments which the Lord God gave unto the children of men. For he gave commandment that all men must repent; for he showed unto all men that they were lost, because of the transgression of their parents. 2 Nephi 2:30 I have spoken these few words unto you all, my sons, in the last days of my probation; and I have chosen the good part, according to the words of the prophet. And I have none other object save it be the everlasting welfare of your souls. Amen. 2 Nephi 9:27 But wo unto him that has the law given, yea, that has all the commandments of God, like unto us, and that transgresseth them, and that wasteth the days of his probation, for awful is his state! 2 Nephi 9:38 And, in fine, wo unto all those who die in their sins; for they shall return to God, and behold his face, and remain in their sins. 2 Nephi 33:9 I also have charity for the Gentiles. But behold, for none of these can I hope except they shall be reconciled unto Christ, and enter into the narrow gate, and walk in the strait path which leads to life, and continue in the path until the end of the day of probation. Jacob 6:5-6 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, I beseech of you in words of soberness that ye would repent, and come with full purpose of heart, and cleave unto God as he cleaveth unto you. And while his arm of mercy is

Post-mortal Repentance
LDSaints teach that one can repent after death. This contradicts the above citation. "Ye cannot say, when ye are brought to that awful crisis, that I will repent, that I will return to my God. Nay, ye cannot say this; for that same spirit which doth possess your bodies at the time that ye go out of this life, that same spirit will have power to possess your body in that eternal world. For behold, if ye have procrastinated the day of your repentance even until death, behold, ye have become subjected to the spirit of the devil, and he doth seal you his..."
"at the time that ye go out of this life". That is, those who die in their sins have no hope.
Mosiah 2:33 For behold, there is a wo pronounced upon him who listeth to obey that spirit; for if he listeth to obey him, and remaineth and dieth in his sins, the same drinketh damnation to his own soul; for he receiveth for his wages an everlasting punishment, having transgressed the law of God contrary to his own knowledge.
Mosiah 2:38 Therefore if that man repenteth not, and remaineth and dieth an enemy to God, the demands of divine justice do awaken his immortal soul to a lively sense of his own guilt, which doth cause him to shrink from the presence of the Lord, and doth fill his breast with guilt, and pain, and anguish, which is like an unquenchable fire, whose flame ascendeth up forever and ever.
Mosiah 15:26 But behold, and fear, and tremble before God, for ye ought to tremble; for the Lord redeemeth none such that rebel against him and die in their sins;
Telestial dwellers have the presence of the Holy Ghost
LDSaints believe that those in the Celestial Kingdom will enjoy the presence of the Father, those in the Terrestrial have the presence of Jesus, and those in the Telestial will have the presence of the Holy Ghost. Those in the Telestial find themselves there because they didn't repent in life nor even in the spirit prison. But the citation contradicts all that.
"ye have become subjected to the spirit of the devil, and he doth seal you his; therefore, the Spirit of the Lord hath withdrawn from you, and hath no place in you"
Preexistence
"[T]his life is the time for men to prepare to meet God". Sorry, LDSaints. You meet him here. You have never met Him before this mortal life.
"...this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity". You say we have been preparing since we were intelligences. Sorry.
Who is in Charge?
"the devil hath all power over you". I can't find it (maybe you can) but some prophet of yours taught that the evil dead will have rule over satan by virtue of having bodies and the devil not having one. We can see that the Book of Mormon tosses that idea.
Repentant Wicked move to Paradise
"this is the final state of the wicked"
My Name is Eternal
Perhaps the most abominable teaching of the Church comes from Doctrine and Covenants 19
6. Nevertheless, it is not written that there shall be no end to this torment, but it is written endless torment.
7. Again, it is written eternal damnation; wherefore it is more express than other scriptures, that it might work upon the hearts of the children of men, altogether for my name's glory.
8. Wherefore, I will explain unto you this mystery, for it is meet unto you to know even as mine apostles.
9. I speak unto you that are chosen in this thing, even as one, that you may enter into my rest.
10. For, behold, the mystery of godliness, how great is it! For, behold, I am endless, and the punishment which is given from my hand is endless punishment, for Endless is my name. Wherefore--
11. Eternal punishment is God's punishment.
12. Endless punishment is God's punishment.
First off, “endless torment” is defined in the Book of Mormon to free itself from the D&C 19 deception:
Jacob 6:10 And according to the power of justice, for justice cannot be denied, ye must go away into that lake of fire and brimstone, whose flames are unquenchable, and whose smoke ascendeth up forever and ever, which lake of fire and brimstone is endless torment.
Mosiah 2:39 And now I say unto you, that mercy hath no claim on that man; therefore his final doom is to endure a never-ending torment.
Mosiah 3:27 And their torment is as a lake of fire and brimstone, whose flames are unquenchable, and whose smoke ascendeth up forever and ever.
The LDS concept here is that punishment is not really eternal, that God never had it written that it was. He only gave the impression that punishment was eternal to scare us. He knew that was a deception. There is a frightful warning in the Book of Mormon to those who think that the evil folks will eventually be cleansed, made spotless, pure and white.
20. I say unto you, can ye think of being saved when you have yielded yourselves to become subjects to the devil?
21. I say unto you, ye will know at that day that ye cannot be saved; for there can no man be saved except his garments are washed white; yea, his garments must be purified until they are cleansed from all stain, through the blood of him of whom it has been spoken by our fathers, who should come to redeem his people from their sins.
24. Behold, my brethren, do ye suppose that such an one can have a place to sit down in the kingdom of God, with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob, and also all the holy prophets, whose garments are cleansed and are spotless, pure and white?
25. I say unto you, Nay; except ye make our Creator a liar from the beginning, or suppose that he is a liar from the beginning, ye cannot suppose that such can have place in the kingdom of heaven; but they shall be cast out for they are the children of the kingdom of the devil.
No Labor can be performed
Prominent in LDSaint teachings is the "Work for the Dead. This is done in Temples. But we see that "the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors....if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed".
This is especially pointed out regarding Baptism. Read Moroni 8 with new eyes:
19. Little children cannot repent; wherefore, it is awful wickedness to deny the pure mercies of God unto them, for they are all alive in him because of his mercy.
20. And he that saith that little children need baptism denieth the mercies of Christ, and setteth at naught the atonement of him and the power of his redemption.
21. Wo unto such, for they are in danger of death, hell, and an endless torment. I speak it boldly; God hath commanded me. Listen unto them and give heed, or they stand against you at the judgment-seat of Christ.
22. For behold that all little children are alive in Christ, AND ALSO ALL THEY THAT ARE WITHOUT THE LAW. For the power of redemption cometh on all them that have no law; wherefore, he that is not condemned, or he that is under no condemnation, cannot repent; and unto such baptism availeth nothing--
23. But it is mockery before God, denying the mercies of Christ, and the power of his Holy Spirit, and putting trust in dead works.
24. Behold, my son, this thing ought not to be; for repentance is unto them that are under condemnation and under the curse of a broken law.
25. And the first fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins;
Those without the law cannot repent. Baptism comes after repentance. But we found out that the dead can't repent. Baptism them by proxy is a mockery before God. He calls it "Dead Works". LDSaints call it "work for the Dead". Yikes.
And how is one to repent as a spirit? Are there, in the spirit world, the thirsty, hungered, naked or sick that, having ministered to, finds us as sheep on the Judges right hand? No, there are none of those.
LDSaints believe that righteous priesthood holders leave and go to preach to those in hell (spirit prison). But we read "he has also said that the righteous shall sit down in his kingdom, to go no more out".
As if to poke LDSaints in the eye, as the Lord in Alma 34 destroys "work for the dead", He adds, making the connection to temples "And this I know, because the Lord hath said he dwelleth not in unholy temples, but in the hearts of the righteous doth he dwell". So much for temples!
Conclusion
In a matter of a few verses, the Lord confounds the "unusual theological teachings [which] aren't found in the Book of Mormon".
I left out a bunch for brevity’s sake.
