A better Plan
According to LDSaint doctrine, EVERYONE should be looking forward to the afterlife! Are you a serial child rapist? Well, you have an afterlife to look forward to that is happy beyond comprehension! Did you beat your wife in front of your starving kids? Man! Do the LDSaints have some real good news for you! Joy beyond comprehension for eternity, glorified in the Kingdom of God awaits you after death! Was your life spend cheating and embezzling people who trusted you? Were you worried about all those lives you ruined? You have nothing to fear! Get ready to be glorified! Were you worried about rejecting Jesus’ sacrifice for you? Were you under the delusion that you had to have faith in Jesus? Did you really think that you would be held accountable for blaspheming that Holy Being? Did you really take the first four principles seriously (faith, repentance, baptism, Holy Ghost) Did you fear future weeping and wailing a gnashing of teeth? I know. I know. You read all about hell and eternal punishment, spiritual death, the kingdom of the devil and being cast out forever and ever into a flame that is unquenchable and where the worm dieth not in each of the standard works of the LDSaint Church. They ignore all of those plain and precious things regarding eternal punishment. You should too! Eat, drink and be merry! Look, they will tell you, hell is all about mistranslated and primitive ideas. All that punishment stuff is just silly metaphors unattached to any reality. Despite what Amulek said about being saved FROM your sins, you should know that you will be saved IN your sins. You may have thought that the Kingdom of God is pure and Holy, but LDSaints will tell you that the kingdom is filthy and you will feel comfortable there because you will be able to shop around and pick the happiest mansion in the kingdom of God where you will find eternal bliss! You will be told that we have a loving Heavenly Father. Characteristics such as His justice and His holiness are all swallowed up in this one attribute…unconditional love to his children, yes, but also toward those who were rebellious, those who spit in His face and trampled under foot His teachings and, indeed, His very Son and who have turned His creation into a field of blood and spread misery among His children. Although the Book of Mormon declares that wickedness never was happiness, your well-read LDSaint will tell you that that is all wrong, that wickedness will be turned into happiness in one of the Kingdoms of Glory. Anyone who casually reads the Book of Mormon, the Bible, the Pearl of Great Price and the Doctrine and covenants will know the above is false doctrine and the god who inspires it is the devil. Says President Oaks recently, “ In the restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we have a unique understanding of our Heavenly Father's plan. This gives us a different way of viewing the purpose of mortal life, the divine judgment that follows it, and the ultimate glorious destiny of all of God's children. “A common misunderstanding of the judgment that ultimately follows mortal life is that good people go to a place called heaven and bad people go to an everlasting place called hell. This erroneous assumption of only two ultimate destinations implies that those who cannot keep all the commandments required for heaven will necessarily be forever destined for hell. A loving Heavenly Father has a better plan for His children”. “The revealed doctrine of the restored Church of Jesus Christ teaches that all the children of God-with exceptions too limited to consider here-will finally wind up in a kingdom of glory”. Obviously he is mocking the Plan of Salvation found in all LDS standard works. He even creates a scarecrow: “ only two ultimate destinations implies that those who cannot keep all the commandments required for heaven will necessarily be forever destined for hell” Nobody….nobody! believes that! On the other hand, his welcome to a glorious eternity in the Kingdom of God will be extended to those who keep NONE of the commandments! “A loving Heavenly Father has a better plan for His children”. “This gives us a different way”. LDSaints bristle when people quote Galatians 1: 6. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7. Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. As you can see, they actually DO preach a better plan, a different way than what is taught in their standard works.
