Your personal sharings of those amazing moments always leave me weakened by glimpses of the power of those experiences and strengthened that they are a very real thing available to all whom require if it, and does what it takes to experience those things.

I will be blunt in return. From my path through life, He has revealed to me that your path is not the only path to get home again.

Your path has been especially established for you and your growth and understanding.

Why it is interminable to you that there would be many pathways home is unreasonable to me that there would not be as many pathways as necessary for a population of this earth that even with the most sincere Christian devotional intent will never travel your path, nor make your discoveries!

Gary, that does not mean that these sincere devotees of seeking God will not find their own personal pathway home!

You are so very certain about what you have found, and I respect that. I do believe that there are important aspects to the entire Eternal Plan of Salvation that you don't consider as important as I do and therefore don't have any solid answers for, simply because they are not germane to your “focus” of study.

While I am being blunt, let me restate for the n’th time, I believe reading the scriptures are as important as having that personal relationship with the Holy Spirit is.

I do not, however, believe that the scriptures are to be defied! Whether you realize it or not, or care or not, your total dedication to the scriptures above all else smacks a bit to closely to that deification which then is idolatrous.

IMHO, what God the Father has shown me is of a vastly larger compendium of knowledge than only the scriptures can afford. You will likely label me a lost heretic by saying that. I could say the same in return.

You may not believe that what goes on here on earth has gone on, on countless worlds before and will go on, on countless worlds hereafter.

I will testify to you that I have been told directly by God the Father when He converted me 35 years ago of the “Universal” nature of His existence and His work and His glory to bring about the eternal life and Immortality of Mankind, whether it be on this planet or other planets.

Correct me if I am wrong, every conversation we have ever had, your viewpoint has been relegated to this earth, only.

My viewpoint has never been only relegated to this 8000 mile diameter rock we call earth. It has always been “Universal” in size and scope.

Unfortunately, even though I personally believe both of us will find our way to God the Father again through our Savior Jesus Christ, I don't think you will agree with that.

And that is what worries me about you, just as you have your care and concerns for me.

I love you, Brother.

From my humble perspective, you would be or such greater service to God “in the Church” gently guiding and directing His Sheep as He told Peter three times to “feed my sheep” (yes, I know the first time He used lambs.)

Not just standing alone on the side of your mountain like Moses on Mount Sinia receiving “the Word of God”.

Remember, even Moses came back down the mountain and “fed His sheep”!

Gary, I testify to you as strongly as possible that there is an Eternal Plan of Salvation and that literally everything has been known to God, and planned for by God in order to bring about the Eternal Life and Immortality of Mankind, as many as feasibly possible,

whether it be here or there throughout this 530,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 mile wide universe that takes light 90 billion years to cross!

I believe Carl Sagan said it best, viz.

“Look again at that dot, That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. On it, everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every ‘superstar,’ every ‘supreme leader,’ every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam.”

That Einstein and Carl Sagan had difficulty with traditional Judeo-Christian religion is a given because they could “see” in their expansive brains an intelligent design to this universe.

What God did for me 35 years ago, was to show me He is the intelligent designer of this Universe and that traditional Judeo-Christian religion IS too self limiting by limiting an all powerful God to the ethics and morals of only this world.

God is God, not to be limited by manmade constructs.

That The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the chosen vessel of the restoration is reality and that it is populated by imperfect prophets, seers and revelators and otherwise imperfect members is ALL PART OF THE PLAN OF SALVATION! All part and parcel of the needs of the last days of this earth. All part of the winnowing out of the tares from the wheat. All as Heber C Kimball’s prophetic utterance foretold of the test of these very last days of trials and tribulations ever increasing in frequency and intensity until the second coming of Jesus Christ. Then this world will receive its paradisiacal glory just as it has been done on countless worlds before and will be done on countless worlds thereafter.

For whatever it might mean to you, I am as certain of what I just wrote as you are about what you write.

How can that be? Are you really ready just to write me off as just another nut job or if you love me enough and respect me and my journey enough, to actually consider that both of us have valid viewpoints and thusly if we both are not wrong, then we both must be right!

If that is true then, Gary, THERE MUST BE A THIRD ALTERNATIVE THAT INCLUDES BOTH OF OUR CORRECT POSITIONS, NO?
