We have hashed this about more than once.

Imho, we mere mortals are destined not to know the fullest extent of the mind and mercies of God.

We've established yours is a “letter of the law” mein, whereas mine is a “spirit of the law” mein.

You are of a lawerly mindset. I am of a healer mindset.

You expect exacting penalties to be incurred regarding the Letter of the Law.

I expect whatever penalties doled out by our one God and Savior to be decisions I can easily live with.

Your Gospel is very limited concerning how many actually make it home again to heaven.

The one I follow is a much more inclusive Gospel, because I don't believe God would make trillions of His spend eternity in Hell because they don't meet the standards you have gleaned to be the case for eternal life.

I says, Bollocks, because I can't conceive of a God that loves us so much as to create this Eternal Plan of Salvation to bring about the Eternal Life and Salvation of “mankind” and send His only begotten Son to atone for original sin thereby conquering death and by His resurrection giving us ALL the opportunity for eternal life if we just reach out and take it, and through repentance and His Mercy and Grace obviate our own sins and wash our garments clean and white to be able to enter the kingdom of God.

Will we be able to abide God's presence? Not likely depending on what terrible sins we have committed on our mortal sojourn. But will the lesstwise of sin be relegated to outer darkness forever and a day?

I DON'T BELIEVE SO. We will be required to pay whatever price Justice demands and then be delivered up to whatever lower “mansion”, one of many in His father's house where our only judge, jury and prosecuter places us where we belong.

And yes, the lowest of the lowest of the lowest kingdom/mansion which Christ will select for us, will be far better than Hell! Just not where God lives and being without the presence of our eternal Heavenly Father /God will be like hell to the US.

How can one deny the fruits of their labors, the peace and comfort that the ministrations of the Holy Spirit brings to the Children of God?

I recently presided over a close friends wake, and then went to the military cemetery where He was interred with full honors.

My presiding presence was requested by the widow (not of this church) as well as praying at his internment.

No honor to me, but all glory to God, I was able to bring plenty loving peace to many mourning hearts!

Just yesterday evening I was outside by myself doing done chores when I kept getting specific instructions to contact the widow. Initially, I ignored the promotings with the intention of calling once I was done. The promotings got stronger and more insistent to call so I stopped what I was doing and called. The poor widow seriously needed someone to mourn with her and I felt privileged to be able to do so. Much comfort and great memories were shared!

Even more striking, this entire time I was outside, I had not interacted with my wife doing her chores. When we finally got together for dinner, I mentioned I had called the widow because the Holy Spirit pushed me to do so. My wife volunteered that she, too, had received the same promptings from the Holy Ghost within the same time frame!

And funny enough, “Oh, the Horror”, this was a Mormon couple being led to another sweet devotee of Christ from ANOTHER CHRISTIAN CHURCH… GO FIGURE!!! How dare we??, No?
